What my students have to say....
"I've been lucky enough to have had some private yoga lessons with Emma, and only have brilliant things to say. She's very attentive and helped me adapt poses to suit my physique as well as subtlety correcting poses I had been doing slightly wrong for literally years. Many an 'Ah-ha!...oooh, I see, I see' moment. If you're anywhere near Twickenham, and even if you've never done yoga before, this is the class for you" - Alice Trueman
"Emma is a very professional and caring person who is taking yoga as a life style and extremely passionate about helping peole" - Esra Kizir Gockcen
"Great teacher great yoga class" - Dilek Polat Sesli

Everyone that ever steps onto a yoga mat does so for slightly different reasons, be it physical, emotional or spiritual, and whilst I believe that yoga works holistically on all levels of our being, my first priority as a yoga teacher is always on safety.
I am passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone and whilst I do respect the more esoteric ancient teachings of yoga which focus a lot on the mind and the 'spiritual self', my own classes place particular emphasis on functionality and the physical practice. I want to help people develop a greater awareness and understanding of their own body and breath and then learn how to select and use yogic tools in a way that suits and respects their own personal needs.
I believe everyone deserves to live their life in a healthy body free from pain and tension- to have a body that is strong but can also adapt and be flexible to change, and I would hope that my classes offer a space in which students can achieve this.
